INTERACT CLUB

The Interact club is the youthwing of the Rotary club, Chennai. Young members of Sir Mutha School help in providing service to the needy thus adhering to the motto “SERVICE ABOVE SELF”. The students involve themselves in conducting paper drives, collecting funds for the orphanages, distributing grains for the underprivileged and in also helping the NGO ‘Chennai Volunteers’. The members also take part in the CANSTOP WALK for creating cancer awareness and WHITE WALK to sensitize people towards the challenges of the visually challenged.The installation of the office bearers of the Interact Club, Sir Mutha School, took place at Prem Vihar on the 17th of July 2019. Mr. N.K Mehta, President of the Rotary Club of Chennai Mid City and several other Rotarians and the members of the Soroptimist International graced the occasion.

The Interactors from Sir Mutha School attended an Interact conclave on 6th August 2019 conducted by the rotary interact team .The conclave concentrated mainly on the various projects that can be done during the year.The speakers also spoke about the importance of leadership , soft skills and how interact can make an impact on the society.Over all it was a fun and an enlightening experience.
